In Broto we find a complete infrastructure of services that justifies its tourist importance. Its two neighbourhoods, on both sides of the river Ara, were united by a Gothic bridge of the 16th century but destroyed during the Civil War. Next to this bridge is the Valley House, with its tower-jail attached to it. The church, of the 16th century, stands out for its crenelated defensive tower. It is dedicated to Saint Paul Apostle and has an interesting sculpted facade, as well as Baroque altarpieces inside. Many houses preserve the traditional architecture. Two interesting places to go for a walk are the visit to the Sorrosal waterfall and the ascent to the "Virgen del Morillo" chapel, over the town. In the valley of Broto we find several paths signposted between the villages of the valley and the chapels. >> ask for information on the paths in the tourist office of Broto.
